Its design follows the lines of the Mycena ean palace of Nestor, King of Pylos which was built in 1800BC. Whe n entering the mansion, your eyes immediately fall upon the central theme of the Mansion, the Estia. This is the holy pyre (from the Greek word Pyra) the centre of every home in ancient Greece and of course, the object that in every palace was placed more centrally than even the King himself. The Estia is the shrine of goddess Estia the protector of house, family and hospitality. So in our case the fire is always lit and its light is seen from all levels. 

The mansion has been designed with the use of natural environmentally friendly materials and mainly with the use of local limestone.
